A Special Honor: Pints N’ Paws Day Officially Proclaimed!

Monday, October 13th was truly a day to remember. During the City of Sanford’s Commission meeting, the community came together to celebrate two incredible proclamations that highlight the heart of what makes our city so special.

First up was Florida City Week, an annual celebration held every October in partnership with the City of Sanford staff and the Florida League of Cities. This week shines a spotlight on the amazing work our local municipalities do every day—engaging citizens, encouraging volunteerism, and building a sense of pride in our community. It’s a reminder of how much teamwork, care, and creativity go into making Sanford the vibrant city we all love.

But the night didn’t stop there…

The second proclamation hit close to home for us—Pints N’ Paws was officially recognized by the City of Sanford for its incredible impact!

Since its launch, Pints N’ Paws Craft Beer Fest has raised an astounding $900,000 for local pet rescues. That’s nearly a million dollars helping dogs and cats find safe homes, medical care, and love—all thanks to the amazing people and partners who show up year after year to support the cause.

To celebrate this milestone, the City of Sanford has officially proclaimed March 28, 2026, as Pints N’ Paws Day!

We’re beyond honored and grateful for this recognition. What started as a fun idea among friends and animal lovers has grown into a movement that gives back in a big way. This proclamation isn’t just for us—it’s for every volunteer, brewer, rescue, sponsor, and attendee who’s helped make Pints N’ Paws such a beloved part of Sanford’s story.

So, mark your calendars! When March 28, 2026 rolls around, we’ll be celebrating more than just our next Pints N’ Paws Craft Beer Fest—it will be the official Pints N’ Paws Day across the City of Sanford! Expect all your favorite breweries, rescues, live music, food, and furry friends back in action for another unforgettable day in Historic Downtown Sanford.

And before that big day arrives, we’ve got something exciting brewing…

Join us on Saturday, November 9th, for the Pints N’ Paws Reboot, featuring the official reveal of our 2026 festival poster!
It’s the perfect chance to kick off the season with fellow animal lovers, grab a drink, reconnect with the community, and get the first look at what’s to come.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you—because Pints N’ Paws isn’t just an event, it’s a community. And thanks to the City of Sanford, it now has its very own day to prove it.
